Doctrinal Statement and Beliefs

 

I am an Independent Fundamental Baptist

I Believe in:

  1. The incarnate, virgin born Son of God. (Isa. 7:14; Mt. 1:18; Rom. 1:3)

  2. The Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ (Jn. 1:1; Jn. 10:30)

  3. Salvation by grace through faith in the precious blood of Christ. (Eph. 2:8-9; Heb. 9:22; 1 Pet. 1:18-19)

  4. The creation of man by God. I reject the heresy of evolution. (Gen. 1:27; Jn. 1:3)

  5. The inspired, inerrant, preserved, and infallible Word of God. (2 Tim. 3:16; Jn. 10:35; 2 Pet. 1:19; Mt. 5:18 ) I believe that the King James Bible translated from the Received Text is God's Book for the English speaking people.

  6.The  bodily resurrection and return of the Lord Jesus Christ. (Jn. 14:1-3; Acts 1:9-11)

  7. The purpose of the Church to evangelize the lost and to edify th Body of Christ. (Mt. 28:18-20; Eph. 4:12-16)

   8. The premillenial, pre-tribulational rapture of the church, the body of Christ. (1 Thess. 4:15-18; 2 Thess. 2:1-2)

   9. A literal heaven and hell. (Jn. 14:1-3; 2 Cor. 5:1; Lk. 16:19-31)

   10. Biblical separation from ecclesiastical apostasy and modernism, specifically the World Council of Churches, ecumenism, neo-evangelicalism, arminianism, hyper-calvinism and the charismatic movement. I believe in separation from worldliness in activities, conduct and appearance. (2 Cor. 6:14-18; 1 Tim. 4:12; 1 Thess. 5:22; 1 Jn. 2:15-17)

   11. I stand against Contemporary "Christian" Music, included in this would be rock, rap, jazz, anything that has the beat of the world! I believe it is unwise to use "drum beat canned" music because of its worldliness and fleshly appeal. (Ps. 40:1; Ps. 137:1-4; Ecc. 7:5; Eph. 5:18-19.)
